Thomas S. Muzzonigro, M.D., received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he also served as a clinical instructor in orthopedics. Dr. Muzzonigro has written numerous articles on orthopedic topics, including sports medicine and gene therapy for arthritis. He lectures on various health education topics and performs total joint replacements for Operation Walk in underserved countries.
