Richard M. Spiro, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama, where he graduated first in his class. He completed his fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Spiro has published extensively in peer reviewed medical journals on the topic of complex spinal reconstruction.
