Anna K. Gaines, M.D., received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed an internship at UPMC Mercy Hospital and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Gaines served on several national formative committees and councils for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. She also has authored articles and made presentations on physical medicine and rehabilitation topics.
